2000. 00 obo cash only (no paypal) books for $4000. 00 first off the transmission is needing to be rebuilt or replaced that is the reason for the lower price. The engine, tires, interior, and handling are is great shape, before the tranny started having issues i was averaging between 30-33 mpg on medium grade fuel. I found used transmissions from 500-1000 and a remanufactured for 1600 i would keep and repair but my wife says its got to go.

1997 mazda protege 4 cylinder gets very good gas mileage very reliable as well transmission has been rebuilt the car runs perfect and passes emissions doesn't smoke at all however the water pump just went out i believe cuz it weeks right with a water pump is other than that it's perfect still runs.
